Relax in our renovated 18th century
self catering holiday cottage, nestling in the grounds of Grimblethorpe
Hall. Anvil Cottage is near to both Louth and Lincoln and is
set in the heart of the Lincolnshire Wolds, a prime position
for walking and cycling.
Anvil Cottage is a spacious four person cottage
which has been lovingly restored to the highest of standards and
has obtained ETC's 5 star rating. Part of the original building
once contained the anvil and forge which the blacksmith used when
shoeing the working horses on the farm. The cottage boasts quality
furnishing and decor with all up-to-date appliances.
THE LOUNGE
The tastefully decorated and furnished lounge
has the original beams and English oak wooden floor complete with
chair and two comfortable sofas. For your entertainment we have
a television, radio, cd and DVD players.
THE KITCHEN
The modern kitchen is fully equipped with microwave
oven, electric cooker and hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer
and a dining area for four.The cottage is fully centrally heated and all
electricity used is included in the renting fee. All bedlinen,
tea towels and bathroom towels are provided.
THE BEDROOMS
The very comfortbale bedrooms at Anvil are light and airy, there is one twin bedroom and one double bedroom with ensuite shower room.
